SEF Announces 2019 Research Grant Call for Proposals

SEF Associate Director Marty Holmes announced the foundation’s 2019 Research Grant call for proposals during the American Marketing Association’s Winter Conference in Austin, TX. The SEF has sponsored the Sales SIG (Special Interest Group) receptions since 2016 and that venue was used to make the official announcement on Saturday evening, 2/26. Several past recipients of the grants are former or current members of the Sales SIG.

SEF has given over $100,000 in research grants since the program was begun in 2011 under a partnership with Neil Rackham, well known author and sales guru. SEF took over sole responsibility of the program in 2017. The goal of the SEF research grant program is to recognize sales-specific research with the potential for application by sales executives, sales managers and/or the sales force. Two recipients will be chosen by an independent selection committee to each receive a $5,000 grant.

Proposals are evaluated on three key criteria – Innovation, Practicality and Dissemination. Deadline for submission is April 30, 2019.
